This is an independent guide to Interactive Investor’s referral offer. It is not run by Interactive Investor (ii), and the operator is not named on the site. This page explains what data the site collects and how the referral link works.
Who runs this site
iireferral.co.uk is an independent UK affiliate guide. It is not Interactive Investor, and it is not financial advice. We publish fee comparisons and referral terms summarised from ii’s own pages.
Affiliate disclosure
Links to open an ii account on this site include our referral ID. If you are a new ii customer, open through that link, and meet ii’s referral terms (including funding £5,000 within a year), ii may pay us a reward. That payment funds the guide. It does not change the offer you receive, and it does not change any fee figure on this site.
Full referral terms: ii.co.uk recommend-ii terms.
What data we collect
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BHRBWEQWN8) to count visits and see whether our ii links get clicked, as totals, so we can improve the site. We don’t use it for advertising and don’t try to identify you. You can turn it off with one click (see Cookies below).
Google Analytics collects:
- Which pages you visit and roughly how long you stay
- Clicks on our ii referral links and use of the fee calculator (which button, on which page)
- Technical details such as browser, device type and approximate location (country or city, worked out from your IP address; Google says GA4 doesn’t store IP addresses)
Our legal basis is legitimate interests: understanding, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. UK law allows analytics used only for this purpose without asking first, as long as we explain it clearly and give you an easy way to opt out. Google processes the data for us under its own terms: policies.google.com/privacy. Google may process it outside the UK, including in the US; Google says it protects these transfers with the UK–US data bridge and standard contractual clauses.
You have the right to see, correct or delete your data, and to object to how it’s used. The quickest way to stop analytics is the “Turn off analytics” link. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk.
We don’t ask you to create an account here, and we don’t collect names, email addresses or payment details. Account opening happens on ii.co.uk under ii’s own privacy notice.
Cookies
- Google Analytics cookies (
_gaand_ga_…): last up to 2 years unless you turn analytics off or clear them. Google keeps the analytics data for no more than 14 months (the longest GA4 allows). - Your opt-out: if you turn analytics off, your browser’s local storage remembers it (
iir-analytics-off) for 12 months, so Google Analytics stays off on every page. - Mobile offer bar: if you close it, your browser remembers that for the current visit only (session storage).
Turn analytics off: use the “Turn off analytics” link in the footer of every page, or here: Turn off analytics. One click stops Google Analytics on this site and deletes its cookies. Click the same link again to turn it back on. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser; the site works the same either way.
We don’t use advertising cookies.
Not financial advice
Nothing on this site is personalised advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any investment. Capital is at risk. Tax treatment depends on your circumstances and may change. Always check the latest terms and charges on ii.co.uk before you act.
